Ngaire, a Florida native, has participated in various musical collaborations for the past 12 years. Her artistic journey has taken her from Florida to most recently the San Francisco Bay area where she now resides. Ngaire’s music has been described as her having an achingly sweet voice that gives expression to poignant, personal lyrics that portray both vulnerability and strength, insecurity and love. Backed by her expressive guitar work, all this adds up to an intimate musical experience that Ngaire hopes will resonate with listeners mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. She sings, plays djembe, the acoustic guitar, and a number of percussive instruments. Ngaire is a lover & a fighter. A musician that takes on the responsibility to help create space for all of us to connect back to ourselves, back to nature and back to each other.
