Summer Osborne is an award-winning American singer-songwriter who entertains audiences throughout the US and Canada with her magical brand of melodic and lyrically potent genre-jumping performances. She masterfully amalgamates the human condition, spirituality, truth, love and healing. When Osborne’s kaleidoscope of music is infused with her charismatic stage presence and naturally humorous personality, every show leaves the listener wanting more.
Summer’s ninth album, Spiritual Revolution, was released in August of 2015 to rave reviews, and her eighth album, As I Am, in 2013. Both are generously being played on various formats, including community and college radio and live streaming stations, as well as receiving play in Unity Church Services and professional counseling and therapy offices.
“Grace” won a 2013 RightOutTV Music and Video award, and “This is Your Call” received Best Song with a Social Message for RightOutTV in 2014 as well as a nomination for Spiritual Song of the Year for the International Music and Entertainment Awards.
Monica Soto, from Camp Magazine KC, says, “The beginning track explains it all — Osborne tells it like it is. She has a positive attitude and she is supremely talented. Osborne is soul to the bone and honest. When I was a judge for HRC’s Battle of the Bands, I saw Osborne do those riffs live. They are complicated to play, and Osborne pulls it off while singing at the same time like she was born to do it. Saying I was blown away is an understatement.”
As a testament to her power vocals, Mark Manning of KKFI 90.1 FM KC states, “I LOVE the new album, and I believe Summer has one of the most incredible voices singing today!!”
Linda Wilson, Entertainment Director of National Women’s Music Festival says, “Summer is the future of women’s music.”
Summer Osborne first graced the stage at the tender age of four, but has been performing her original tunes for fans since 2005. During that time, lyrics and melodies have been continuously flowing through her, resulting in nine albums. When listening to her entire catalog, one can certainly see her evolution as a songwriter.
Since deciding to focus on her musical career (performing and writing) full time in 2009, Summer has remained on tour, doing shows at venues and festivals far and wide. Including National Women’s Music Festival and SXSW, and Pridefests all over North America.
Osborne has shared the stage with Holly Near, The Indigo Girls, Tret Fure, Melissa Ferrick, Melanie DeMore, Suzanne Westenhoefer, God-Des and She, Alix Olson, Andrea Gibson, Julie Goldman, Dana Goldberg, Big Bad Gina, Patrice Pike, The Dollyrots, Jen Foster, Sugarbeach, The Cliks, Crystal Waters, Martha Wash, RJ Helton, Jennifer Holliday, and Kimberley Locke.
Summer Osborne’s only goal: to change the world by changing people’s minds about themselves… she needs LOVE, MUSIC, and YOU.
